Google Translate features 8 real time transcriptions

Google Translate has always been an invaluable tool for travelers and those learning new languages. Though handier than a dictionary, it lacked one very crucial feature for in-the-moment application: real-time transcription.

But not anymore.

Google, the mega-mogul behind the app has launched just that - real-time transcriptions in eight if the world's most popular languages for Androids soon to be on iOS. The new feature supports English, French, German, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
